xorg driver for geode lx

Dear Alan, Rene, Eric,

I am now trying to compile Rene's patch from
http://dl.exactcode.de/oss/xorg/nsc-amd-geode-lx-R6.patch
on top of xf86-video-nsc-X11R7.1-2.8.1.

The patching went fine, but I'm still a little lost on the compilation. As 
soon as I have found out how, I'll report on it.
