XCompositeUnredirectWindow() behaves differently in Xorg 6.8/6.9/7.0 and 7.1?

Yes, the old behaviour was deemed harmful and removed. It was originally
an artifact of the implementation, but as it mirrored the behaviour of
the ReparentWindow request, it seemed like a reasonably good thing to
do. Experience with window managers and other applications proved
differently and the code was fixed to suppress these events.
