Most superb sample is:
/etc/X11/xkb/symbols/pc/us_intl
Read according Compose file, if LC_CTYPE="en_US.UTF-8"
/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/locale/en_US.UTF-8/Compose
Back up and edit these two files and You will reach the top.
Set new layout:
# setxkbmap us_intl
Aivils
