Hi,
I am still trying to get my ATI 9100 IGP working with dual head.
I have Ubuntu Edgy Eft installed with the newest version of Xorg and the
xorg-ati drivers.
I have two monitors connected, one on DVI another on VGA. Both screens
are detected correctly and the right resolutions are choosen.
(1280x1024 for the monitor (Samsung) on DVI, 1024x768 for the monitor
(Philips) on VGA)
Here is my lspci output:
01:05.0 VGA compatible controller: ATI Technologies Inc Radeon 9100 IGP
(prog-if 00 [VGA])
Subsystem: ASUSTeK Computer Inc. Unknown device 8107
Flags: bus master, 66MHz, medium devsel, latency 255, IRQ 177
Memory at e8000000 (32-bit, prefetchable) [size=128M]
I/O ports at d000 [size=256]
Memory at fdc00000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=64K]
Expansion ROM at fdb00000 [disabled] [size=128K]
Capabilities: [58] AGP version 3.0
Capabilities: [50] Power Management version 2
Here is my config:

And here is the log:
http://www.miketech.net/xorg/ati-info/Xorg.0.log
As you can see everything is detected correctly, isn't it?
My problem is, that both screens are blank. They enter the sleep mode
and don't display X.
Any idea, what I am doing wrong?
Greetings
Michael
