We've tried to make it work on everything, but there are a few known
issues, especially with these older chips. In particular, LVDS support
on i830 is broken, and DVO support (i830-i865) is not very complete.

For i810/i815, the driver is entirely unchanged as support for those
chips is handled by separate code within the same driver binary.

But, things like i855 LVDS are working quite well, and i9xx parts are
much better supported with this driver than the BIOS-based i810 driver.

Yes, it would be nice to have a perfect driver that supported
everything, we're trying, but older hardware is both hard to get and
hard to get working.
