Xpress 200 dual head problem

So I looked around on mailing lists and bug reports but I can't find
anything too similar to the problem I have on my HP NX6125 Its an ATI
Xpress 200M. For some reason when I get the dual head "working" I have
a blank second screen which shows either random pattern of red pixels
or completely blank. The cursor shows up as a block and the resolution
seems to be fine. I read in a few places that the IGP chipsets have
memory initialization problems. I can believe that thats likely what
is happening because only the hardware cursor shows up. Anyone have
similar problems? I've tried the recent 6.6.191 drivers as well. FYI I
can get clone mode working by using the BIOS key, then running X and
using the BIOS key again and that seems to be reliable. But I really
would like dual head working.
