How to make the LCD show 24 bits colors

Finally, after a lot of research I realized my TNT2 is delivering 24 bit colors. The problem is they look washed or too bright. I tried to solve this using the monitor controls and adjusting gamma software with no success. I also checked with an old SIS 6326 and colors were right without any kind of adjustment but I experimented other kind of issues (half screen), so this is not a monitor issue.

Is there somebody using a TNT2 card with an LCD monitor?
