Thanks to Keith and Raul for the hints. I will try with keeping Pipe A
active. Concerning the suspend/resume problem - Keith suggested to check
the vbetool. That might be the solution, in fact I have in my
/etc/hibernate/common.conf the settings:
EnableVbetool yes
VbetoolPost yes
but I don't know what commands does this settings issue exactly.

Interesting. I also made some experiments with Bios upgrades, upgrading to
version A10 caused the Xwin display to be vertically shifted by about 1 cm
down, which made the laptop quite unsuable. Downgrading to A07 helped at that
time. However, as far as I undestood from the bug report above (comment #14 by
Conns), the problem is rather in one specific commit, right?
