Status of modesetting in intel driver.

All night I have been trying to get 1280x768 on my Sony Vaio VGN-T2XP
with the new intel driver. It used to work with 915resolution on the old
i810 driver and it used to work (a bit buggy) with the old
i810-modesetting driver.

Whatever I try, it won't let me have 1280x768. Any thoughts?
