  If I recall, I tried that with no luck and it died somewhere else
other than in xf86_cursors_init().

  The backtrace and source suggests that xf86CrtcConfigPtr is not
initialized or is corrupted. Maybe I missed a dependency and an older
library/module/driver is corrupting the ScreenRec structure?
