Hrm, using the most probable google hit:
git clone git://anongit.freedesktop.org/~airlied/radeontool/
I get
$ sudo ./radeontool regmatch DISP_MERGE_CNTL
$ sudo ./radeontool regmatch DISP2_MERGE_CNTL
$
ie. no output.
