IIRC we've seen this before, but I don't remember what the
resolution was. Please file a bug report at
bugs.freedesktop.org, and be sure to note the versions of
things (in particular, java) that you're using so we can try
to reproduce. Now that Sun's Java is open source, we have
at least a chance of fixing the likely root cause---locking
errors in the Java libraries.
