Xorg & Matrox on IBM pSeries powerpc64

Hi, I'm from Italy.
I'm trying to get X-window working on a IBM pSeries 650 POWER4+ (powerpc64).

I'm using Debian Etch ppc64 distro.

My graphics adapter is a GXT135P (i.e. Matrox G450), with a mga g400 chipset
I read about some problems between Xorg and Matrox, though :S

As a matter of facts, I always get "(EE) No devices detected" when starting
X
Could I try something when starting kernel ? (let's say video=matrox:...
something)

I even tried getting Original v4.4.0 drivers from ftp.matrox.com, or v4.4.2
unofficial drivers from the net, but couldn't manage to compile in my ppc64
architecture...

I both used debian kernel 2.6.18-3 image, loading external fb/mga modules,
and also customizing and compiling my own kernel 2.6.18-7 from Debian
patched sources.
Even a 2.6.18 vanilla, but nothing solved.
If needed, I could post the required .config statements... Let me know about

Here we go with the Xorg configuration and output:

As you can see, my matrox g400/g450 PCI is located at the address 0002:42:00
0; when converted from hex to dec, I get that PCI:66:0:0 address
automatically detected by
# dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg

Actually I haven't fully understood wether I'd translated the 0002 bus
channel prefix.
Soul I put PCI:2:66:0 instead ???

Hwr, Xorg isn't able to find my graphical adapter ...

It seems there's a wrong pci address, but I'm not able to correct it.

After two-weeks googling, I only found some bug-reports about "Xorg vs. mga"
but no effective workarounds for powerpc64 architecture. Even it's a 2005's
issue... :(

Could someone help me ? Any idea ?

Thank you very very much.
