Xorg 1.1.1 + Mesa 6.5.2 = White screens with i810 driver and beryl/compiz

I've just tried compiling git HEADs of xserver and mesa against 
glproto-1.4.7 with the mentioned patches. beryl 0.14.0 still gives me 
the dreadful white screen (although the cube can still be rotated).
