Xorg 1.1.1 + Mesa 6.5.2 = White screens with i810 driver and beryl/compiz

Well Michel, judging how many reports seem to be coming in now on
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=9456 and other places, I
think we can confirm that there is something wrong. I'm not rulling out
compilation/linking issues but just saying that it's looking less likely.

Perhaps we can arrange some time on IRC or something where we can try
and hunt down a solution? While I know little about the arch of Mesa,
Xserver etc. I know my way around coding generally and can compile and
test till the cows come home!

Tho I guess it will just be a matter of recompiling everything over and
over until I find the revision of Mesa that borks (which means multiple
patches to xorg too seeing as the two don't always play nice!)

What do you recommend I do to track this down fully?
