Errors with jhbuild

I had the same issue, but:
Citing 
http://wiki.x.org/wiki/JhBuildInstructions
"Our module set requires jhbuild from svn as of
2007-01-08 or so."

That was the problem; cvs was out-of-date. (I tried
both today!)
(I had other problems with jhbuild, ...:( )
