if you want use beryl there are 3 ways - using packages from your distro or
using compiled sources from git (all xorg , drm , mesa) or you can do also
compromise :
you can have packages like xorg from distro but
compile glproto , rendrproto , drm , drm/linux-core , linux-agp-compat ,
libXrendr , xrendr , xserver (with
xserver --prefix=/usr --disable-dmx --with-mesa-source={where you have mesa
from git and you should have 3 patchs from
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=8991} , mesa , xf-video-intel
(you could try modesetting branch)
and you should modify xorg.conf to have that :
Driver "i810"
VideoRam 131072
Option "XAANoOffscreenPixmaps"
Option "AddARGBGLXVisuals" "true"
Option "AIGLX" "true"
Section "DRI"
Group 0
Mode 0666
EndSection
Section "Extensions"
Option "Composite" "yes"
EndSection
but i think you will find on google what and how do it.
