Synaptics driver not loading properly.

Well I've posted a bug on the libsynaptics project bugtracker (I know
it's not ideal but it's the closest thing I could find for the synaptics
driver itself!
I've hacked up a completely dodgy .la file for the package in Mandriva
and I can now load the driver nicely, so it's solved (albeit hackily)
for now.
Hopefully others will benefit from this info, especially if the upstream
devs notice this and convert to autotools.
