Hello all,

I am trying to configure my Xserver configuration file with my old old
Voodoo2 card.
I already have a old vga card ATI Rage Pro. See below my lspci :

>00:00.0 Host bridge: Intel Corporation 440BX/ZX/DX - 82443BX/ZX/DX Host
>bridge (rev >02)
>00:01.0 PCI bridge: Intel Corporation 440BX/ZX/DX - 82443BX/ZX/DX AGP
>bridge (rev 02)
>00:07.0 ISA bridge: Intel Corporation 82371AB/EB/MB PIIX4 ISA (rev 02)
>00:07.1 IDE interface: Intel Corporation 82371AB/EB/MB PIIX4 IDE (rev 01)
>00:07.2 USB Controller: Intel Corporation 82371AB/EB/MB PIIX4 USB (rev 01)
>00:07.3 Bridge: Intel Corporation 82371AB/EB/MB PIIX4 ACPI (rev 02)
>00:0d.0 Multimedia video controller: 3Dfx Interactive, Inc. Voodoo 2 (rev
>02)
>00:0e.0 Ethernet controller: National Semiconductor Corporation DP83815
>(MacPhyter) >Ethernet Controller
>00:10.0 Multimedia video controller: Brooktree Corporation Bt848 Video
>Capture (rev 12)
>01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: ATI Technologies Inc 3D Rage Pro AGP
>1X/2X (rev 5c)

As a non specialist, I was doing it simple by replacing driver "ati" by
driver "voodoo" but it does not appear to work :

>(II) Voodoo: driver for Voodoo1/Voodoo2: Voodoo 1, Voodoo 2
>(II) Primary Device is: PCI 01:00:0
>(WW) Voodoo: No matching Device section for instance (BusID PCI:0:13:0)
>found

Speaking with Alan Cox, he kindly explained to me that the the fact it says
"No matching Device section" means it found the driver and hardware but
didn't find a config entry. Actually, Voodoo2 doesn't appear as a video card
and I need a specific driver section in my xorg.conf which also specifies
the BusID "PCI:0:13:0"

Well, I am asking you if you could tell me the section I have to add in my
xorg.conf in order to make this working.

Regards,

Jerome
