The conference is free, accommodation is around £70/night. Lunch and
dinner are on your own in Cambridge. Transportion is whatever the
airlines can get out of you. Just get a rough estimate from a random
travel web site and you'll probably be within a factor of two or so.

Certainly. If you're in the US, the passport office has been swamped all
summer, so you'll want to get that started right away.
