a more powerful driver but old one

Today I find Intel have its own display driver named (IEGD: Intel(r)
Embedded Graphics Drivers).
The very driver is more powerful and more stable than xorg intel(i810) driver.
The problem is that the newest driver(6.1 ?) is only support to xorg
7.0 and seem to relation to kernel.

I want to know somebody can use this driver on more new xorg?
