Well, you can already adjust them individually in master. :)

Hi,
It's on my TODO to look at while I'm (ostensibly) on holiday.  I'm
actually away from computers for a while though, so I may not get to
this until the end of the month.

My only issues with the original, however, were all to do with coding
style and integration issues, which can be pretty trivially resolved,
and the integration stuff seems to be mostly fixed anyway, judging by
the comments in the bug.  So, I don't expect anything wrong.

I've created an abi-breakage branch today to accommodate at least one
DeviceIntRec change, so I'll push it into there, which will hopefully
hit for 1.4.x.
