Download and build it isn't that hard..
git clone git://git.freedesktop.org/git/xorg/driver/xf86-video-ati.git
cd xf86-video-ati
sh autogen.sh --prefix=/usr
make
make install
You'll probably need a load of development packages I'm not sure what
the superpackage is called..
