Does the intel-driver not accalerate bitmask blits?

Wow that is really poor - it does not even accalerate such basic
operations. Sadly I can't control which type is used for masking :-/
Is this a hw limitation?
I bought my intel-based laptop because I was unhappy with the nvidia
solution I had before - but it also crashes from time to time (X is
still the very No.1 reason why I have to reaboot), has graphical
glitches (very seldom exposed areas stay black), uses a lot of libfb
and opengl performance is terrible (much worse than for Windows).
Not a good deal at all :-/
