Upgrade your driver (xserver-xorg-video-intel) to 2.0 or later. You can
also get source code from ftp.x.org under the archive file name of
xf86-video-intel.
Doesn't feisty come with this driver? I'm amazed that the latest Ubuntu
release still requires BIOS hacks on Intel hardware. I've been using
the modesetting driver painlessly for some time.
