Please open bugs on freedesktop bugzilla there is a component for
avivo, attach xorg log of working avivo, lspci -v output for your card.
When xorg crash after cold boot can you still ssh in ? or is it a hard
crash ? If you can ssh in then i will need radeondump of your card.
Grab git://people.freedesktop.org/~glisse/radeondump
and do radeondump -d avivocold
then in xorg with fglrx do several radeondump -d fglrx with doing
stuff btzw each dump (like changing resolution, moving mouse,
changing to console and back to X, launching 3d).

Then quit X and relaunch server with avivo and do some dump
again radeondump -d avivoafterfglrx

best,
Jerome Glisse
