So, a little bit further I guess. Just to preface this run with what has
changed.
I downgraded to xorg 7.2 on F7 so I could run fglrx in big
desktop/spanning mode, as running with one screen in vesa was
irritating. So fglrx was running previous to my testing. I've included a
radeondump of the fglrx in this setup (xinerama true, clone off, aiglx
off etc). 'fglrx-071C6-0'
I upgraded back to 1.3/7.3 or whatever it is versioned now. And started
the avivo run. There was no second screen at all. It was black/blank. I
have the radeon dump from that as 'avivo-071C6-1'.
Adding the second monitor/screen information, and setting xinerama to
true gets me a segfault. I've included the xorg log from that crash.
Without Xinerama I only get one monitor...
http://www.gnat.ca/avivo-0x71C6-0 (original)
http://www.gnat.ca/avivo-0x71C6-1 (newest but only one screen now)
http://www.gnat.ca/fglrx-0x71C6-0 (fglrx with older xorg)
http://www.gnat.ca/Xorg.0.log.old (log output with one screen)
http://www.gnat.ca/xorg-avivo-crash.log (log output when crashing)
In all cases the system was still accesible via ssh but when it crashed
I couldn't ctrl-alt-fX to a console or anything, logging via ssh and
running xorg with vesa fixed it for the next tests...
Anything else?
