If you are going to buy an Intel system, I would recommend buying an
Intel motherboard as well, or at least a motherboard with an Intel
chipset, and get a 965G graphics chip with it. They are very nice and
the driver support is second-to-none, and open source. As for FreeBSD,
I believe one of the driver hackers, who also works for Intel, is part
of the FreeBSD project.
