GPL flag for x.org drivers

Why prohibit binary drivers? So you do not need to give support? You can do
this already right now!
X.Org is not GPL, it's much less restrictive and companies should be allowed
to create drivers for embedded devices if they wish to.
I think, companies like ATI an Nvidia might drop support for Linux/X.Org, when
you force them to open their source, except for some open source drivers with
limited support of the hardware (like the open source nvidia driver, that is
developed by nvidia, too, but does not support 3D very well). This is long
discussed on the LKML. ATI does not need Linux users to make money.
X.Org gives you much more freedom than Linux with the GPL.
