X problems

    Jay and all,

cxpm doesn't work. sxpm says error can't open display and then there is one 
last command in usr/local/bin for X and that is makestr or something like 
that. So I have 3 commands for my X install. Does this sound right? I have 
yet to install freetype and fontconfig with X as of this moment by they are 
not going to install any more X commands. I have compiled my X from scratch 
from modules in X7.0. Might I be missing and modules? I acn post a list that 
pkg-config says I have.
