intel & video proyector

Hi,

I have an Intel 945 GM and I need to connect it to video proyector. The
problem is that the screen resolution of my MacBook is 1280x800 and the
proyector's 1024x768. The result is that the image is cut vertically and
the rightmost part of the screen isn't shown in the proyector.

There is anything I can do without deforming the image?

P.S: I have an almost empty xorg.conf with only the video card. The vga
output is activated using xrandr.
