1680 x 1050 with intel driver?

If fedora 8 includes Xorg server 1.4 (assuming the latest stable intel
driver), then your chances of this working are higher. As I've
mentioned before, there are known problems of this kind of setup
working correctly with Xorg server 1.3 (and probably lower).
