siliconmotion driver problem on Gateway Solo 2550 laptop

I cannot get my Gateway Solo 2550 laptop to run in
1024x768 resolution, it settles on 800x600.

I am running Fedora 8 linux.

Here are the specs for my laptop.

I have attatched my xorg.conf, and Xorg.log.o file.

It seems that Xorg cannot find the "VESA BIOS" and
claims my Panel Size = 800x600.

Why is that?
