Run "modprobe sermouse" and then "inputattach --intellimouse /dev/ttyS1 &" 
commands (google for inputattach.c). Inputattach will pretend that you have a 
shiny new PS/2 mouse available through both /dev/input/mice, /dev/input/mouseX 
and /dev/input/eventY interfaces.
