Is it really different from bz #13968 ?

Btw, so far I think I'm the only one to have reported a working DVI
with the intel driver on the G35 based Asus P5E-VM HDMI mb;
and I still don't know what I did to get it suddently working.
For instance on this forum, all owners of this mb reported to
have the same bug, whatever they do:

Seems pretty consistent to me.

Rainer Dorsch: the bios upgrade should be a red herring after all.
At least two people upgraded their motherboard bios to the
same version as me and the problem is still there for them.
I'm also running in 32bits (and Kevin DeKorte in 64bits) so this
shouldn't be linked to the problem either.
