  Err, sorry about posting a patch with inverted logic, just
used git-reset to revert state and make correct one. Anyway,
this patch is being posted for analysis by someone with more
knowledge. Personally, I don't like the check for
XORG_VERSION_CURRENT, but it is a cut&paste from value in
$sdkdir/xorg-server.h
