I have a 965GM, and since the update to 2.4.0, XRRGetScreenResources()
leads to flickering also on my LVDS (and with the current gtk+
"enhancement" that means a lot...). With previous versions (latest used
being 2.3.2) the VGA screen turned on and off, but the LVDS screen was
not affected. Now I get a subliminal shift of my desktop for a few
tenths of a second.
In case it matters, I have EXA activated, and kernel 2.6.26.
Let me know if I should open a bug.
