twm and intel dual head using xrandr

First of all thanks for taking the time to write such a detailed answer.
I really appreciate it.

This explanation brings some light to my understanding of the role of
the window managers :)

In my application, since I know when xrandr is called (my app calls it),
I can just kill and restart twm and this does the trick!  Actually, in
the end, I might not even need a window manager...
