DPMS on dualhead configuration

Hi,
I have a dualhead configuration with two monitors attached to two cards.
Everything works but I have a small annoyance. I would like to be able to
control the DPMS setting individually. However, they seem to be linked. If I
run xset dpms force off, both sceen shutdown. Is there a way to setup the
DPMS settings per screen?

PS: I tried searching and found a post but no answer, I'm hoping someone
answers this one :)
