new scheduler info

Hi,
I'm a student of Trento university.
I want to add a new scheduler in addition to the standard inside the
xserver.
May you send me some hints about the architectural point of view to
implement it?
Is it reasonable to implement it in a separate module? Do you
think it is better a new separate module or adding the code inside Xext?
