problem with x window

i have IBM thickcenter machine on which i tried to install red hat 9 but
x-window is creating a problem
my chipset is
Intel Corp. 82845G/GL{Brookdale-G] chipset integrated graphics device

should i need to install some kernet patch for this.....
pls suggest me some solution....
