Thanks Karsten - at least it's not just me!

Another quick question - at the bottom of the list on the bugzilla site is
*gm45-quirk-sony-vaio-vgn-sr11m.patch*<http://bugs.freedesktop.org/attachment.cgi?id=19963>

is that a genuine patch? you'll have to forgive me - this is my first bash
at linux, i've learnt a lot, but compiling this kind of stuff into the
kernel/intel drivers is a little beyond me! i presume that is what's
required?
