So, i915.ko is from the latest 2.6.28+ git kernel. Understood.

And I don't set OS_HAS_GEM=1. Understood.

So, where should drm.ko come from:
1. the kernel or
2. git://

If drm.ko is from the kernel, do I need to do anything within the drm
git directory?

I'm getting close; Xorg starts but keyboard and touchpad are locked...
