Need PCI express 16 video card capable of 1680x1050 resolution

I will check the Intel driver version later. What's the best way to determine the version number?

I tried this one (GeForce 8400 GS):

... and the nv driver didn't work with it. Again, vesa worked, but only at the wrong screen resolution.
