fglrx taints the kernel when loaded, and in my experience, can mess up
kernel memory if one tries to load radeon after "rmmod fglrx". My
suggestion? Blacklist, rename, or delete your fglrx.ko .

Of course, if merely removing it from the kernel works for you, then go
with that. :3
