Xdmx on ubuntu intrepid ibex seg faults

Hi

As a follow up, I made a fresh install of hardy, downloaded and built the
latest xorg-server and still had the segmentation fault immediately after
launching Xdmx.
This time there is a different dmesg though:
[ 2591.761194] Xdmx[14403]: segfault at 0 rip 43cef0 rsp 7fffedc40f60 error
6

Xdmx output with the following command
"Xdmx :3 -display :0 +xinerama -v" goes through normal stuff then ends with:

(II) dmx: Using 1600x1200 as global bounding box
(II) dmx: XSync batching with 100 ms interval
(II) dmx: Shadow framebuffer support disabled
Segmentation fault

Is there just something wrong with my setup?
Does anyone have a distro where they know that xdmx works? (I really need
xdmx to work and am not too picky on distro's)

Thanks,

Amit
