(xkb) how to map a key to multiple characters?

To have a key ouput a string rather than a single character, you have to
use XIM or something like that.

We'll need to add keysyms for the CH digraph and C'H trigraph and
appropriate mappings for them in the Compose tables.

https://bugs.freedesktop.org/enter_bug.cgi?product=xorg

requesting the keysyms and Compose mapping.

Do you have a reference to an explanation of how casing works in Breton,
with respect to these multi-character letters?

Projects like Gnome use their own Compose tables; you'll also need to
ask them to add a similar Compose mapping once we determine what it
should be.
