By the way, this works beautifully.  Thanks for the patch, Keith :)

In the bug (#21987) I also posted a patch to fix the "swap this struct"
functions for RANDR; some were missing fields, and others had minor
problems.

If you could commit that patch plus yours, it would be much appreciated.
I want to land the client code in GNOME, but it absolutely depends on
having the right timestamps.

[I also filed bug #21998 asking for a git account --- if you'd prefer me
to commit those patches myself, then I need someone to vouch for my
account - hint, hint :) ]
