framebuffer emulator

Hi all,

Is there a way to test and debug an app built to use /dev/fb0 into a window running on an accelerated X server instance?

i have a running X session on my nvidia proprietary driven laptop, and i want to start a program built to use /dev/fb0 (that i currently haven't on my /dev !!!)
