It's not specific to Motif. The XtNchildren and XtNnumChildren
resources belong to Composite, which is part of Xt, as is
XtNameToWidget(), while the Editres protocol is implemented in Xmu.

AFAIK, libXt and libXmu are still part of the modular X.org
distribution (the editres client was removed in 7.4 onwards).
